I can't believe that I'm the first on here!   WAKE UP EVERYONE, did you all party too much last night with State winning???

So let's get this started.  My cup had chai tea this morning, then on to my protein shake with all my vitie's.  Next up, I'm going to try that Yoga tape w/ Bob.  Wish me luck on living through it!   I'll report back in on how it went.

QOTD:  Hmmmmmmm.... What would be a perfect weekend for you?  I'm such a homebody.  My hubby and I have no kids, just 2 dogs, but we do have 1.5 acres that we maintain.  We've planted 15 fruit trees (asain pear, apple, peach....) we also have 50ft rows of raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, josta berries....... Plus a large vege garden and of course my flower gardens.  I love working outside in the summer, putsying around, weeding, watering.... then at the end of the day sitting on the back porch having a ****tail and dinner just listening to the birds.  Then getting up the next day and doing it all over again.   That's actually what gets me through days like we're going to have tonight and tomm., just knowing that summer day's like that are in my near future.   I know Brenda thinks I'm crazy, but hey that's me.

Enjoy what you can of the day, GO STATE!!

Wow, you're right.  Where is everyone?  I've had coffee and an egg sandwich today.  I've been trying the protien drinks (I'm pre-op) to see what I like or can stomach.  I've had some EAS double chocolate given to me and I can tolerate it without any problem.  It's almost too chocolatey.  It seems to make me constipated tho.  No wonder everyone eats fiber one in their yogurt!

A perfect weekend for me is being up at our house in Interlochen, sitting on the screened in front porch, drinking coffee and reading a book, listening to the birds and the waves lapping against the shore and smelling the frest aid.  Nothing more relaxing to me.  Second perfect is out riding my Harley or a horse.

It is what it is.
If He brings you to it, He'll bring you through it...

Good Morning!
I've had a protein shake today and I'm heading to the kitchen for and egg eaters/chicken/cheese thing I do for my brunch.

QOTD:  I love, love being at home.  I work swing shift and my weekends are usually Wed & Thurs it's just not the same as hanging out in your sweats and reading the Sunday paper.  So my perfect weekend would be having Sat & Sun off with no major plans. During the summer there is a weekend flea market within walking distance after that just hanging out on my porch.
I'm not one to wish my life away but I can't wait for warmer weather to get here.

I'm a home body too!  and my back yard is a flee market from mid July on... When I first moved back here (I went to Phx. for 17 years, been back for 9 years now) everyone thought I was nuts, I loved each day, just having a change was great fun for me, Phx is so same old, same old, you really do miss the change.  This year and maybe the last are the only day's I've "wished away" and  could not wait for spring, but I guess that's what makes me a Michigander!!

It's my day off! In fact so is tomorrow! So I was up but I was busy doing chores and replying with a twisted posting to a twisted posting in the men's forum. Morning everyone. yes State won. Good to see my money at work, (two kids at state).
Perfect weekend for me would be on a Caribbean Cruise.

Oh my hubby and I LOVE cruising, but not just for the weekend.  Pineview 01 (sorry don't remember your real name) is really the authority on cruising, she is the goddess!!!

Afternoon guys!  I was up early doing stuff around the house and then we took youngest surly teenage son "summer clothes" shopping.  I just put a roast in the oven and had a second to chime in.

Edie, I don't think you are crazy at all!  So many of you guys like the outdoor thing.  I realized long ago that I am the crazy one!  As long as you have something that makes you happy....that's what is important!

I don't even know what to say about my perfect weekend.  I used to say going away to Vegas or something like that, but then I feel guilty about being away from the kids, so it ends up being not so perfect.  I guess I would like a vacation from changing diapers and feeding people.  I would like to (guilt-free) watch TV and maybe go to dinner and a movie without worrying about my oldest son (who is disabled, in case you didn't know).  If I could add some shopping in there and Starbucks iced tea, well, that would be Heaven!!!!!

I have to go check the weather report for Mon and Tues...my mom told me something I just don't believe.  Hope you all had a good day!

The bad thing about Sunday morning is that it is followed by Sunday night, which is sort of the funeral home visitation for Monday morning.
